About The Position

Our direct client has an opening for Oracle DBA116593. This position is up to 12 months with the option of extension, and the client is in Madison, WI. Candidate MUST be physically located in the United States. International candidates/phone numbers will not be accepted. Candidate must follow ALL DCF work rules. Candidate must be available to perform all work during the Central Standard Time (CST) business hours 9:00 am – 3 pm (or CST hours as defined by the hiring manager). Candidate will be required to provide their own equipment for this position. Phone and web-based interviews will be acceptable. However, an in-person interview may be required. Interviews will be set up shortly after the posting close date. MUST provide three (3) business references for the interview. (One reference must be a supervisory level.)

Requirements

• 10+ years of Oracle DBA experience
• Current experience in a multitenant environment running Oracle 19c
• Expert level of knowledge and experience in data modeling and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schema(s)
• Expert level experience in creating and modifying Shell scripts and packages
• Must be physically located in the United States
• Must be available to perform all work during Central Standard Time (CST) business hours 9:00 am – 3 pm
• Must provide their own equipment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with enterprise-class applications with mission-critical functionality which contain sensitive and or regulatory information such as IRS Pub 1075 and PII is highly recommended

Responsibilities

• Working with application development teams
• Database schema design, develop, amend, optimize, and certify to meet system(s) requirements
• Creating and modifying Shell scripts and packages, for performance monitoring and tuning
