About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team and ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our database systems. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle databases, optimizing performance, and implementing strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database operations, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations for improvements. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in database administration, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Requirements

• Proficiency in Oracle database management tools
• Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming
• Experience with database performance tuning
• Familiarity with database backup and recovery techniques
• Understanding of data security practices
• Ability to manage database replication and clustering
• Full U.S. Citizenship
• TS/SCI Full Poly clearance

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cloud-based database solutions
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible)
• Knowledge of Oracle RAC and Data Guard
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell)
• Experience with database migrations and upgrades

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries
