Oracle Integration Cloud Developer
About The Position
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Integration Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations connecting Oracle Cloud Applications, on-premises Oracle systems, and third-party platforms. The developer owns the integration lifecycle, from analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support. The role calls for hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations, processes, and Visual Builder applications, together with knowledge of integration patterns, API management, and Oracle Cloud Applications data models. The position is full-time, direct W-2, and 100% remote within the United States. The stated annual salary range is $100,000–$170,000. The employer cannot sponsor new H-1B visa petitions; U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, and H-1B transfer candidates are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 12 or more years of integration experience, including strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, or CX) data models and APIs.
- Experience developing REST and SOAP web services.
- Working knowledge of Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Process Cloud Service.
- Familiarity with API management concepts and Oracle API Platform.
- Strong scripting skills in Groovy and JavaScript, and SQL skills.
- Experience with OAuth2, SAML, and mTLS security standards.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience migrating from Oracle SOA Suite to OIC.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop OIC integration flows connecting Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, CX) with on-premises and third-party systems.
- Build app-driven and scheduled orchestrations, including complex mappings, error handling, and recovery flows.
- Configure and operate OIC adapters, including REST, SOAP, FTP, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, and custom adapters.
- Develop process automation flows using OIC Process Cloud Service for human-centric workflows.
- Build Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) applications integrated with OIC and Oracle Cloud Applications.
- Implement API management strategies, including security policies, throttling, and developer portals.
- Design error-handling and notification patterns, including retries, escalation, and resubmission workflows.
- Optimize high-volume integration performance using batching, parallelism, and asynchronous patterns.
- Migrate legacy Oracle SOA Suite or third-party integrations to OIC.
- Collaborate with Oracle Cloud Applications functional teams to align integrations with business processes.
- Provide hypercare and post-go-live support, including incident response and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design decisions, configuration references, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to internal integration patterns and standards.
