Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer
About The Position
Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer on behalf of a client in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The engineer will apply recent hands-on OCI engineering experience alongside Oracle Database and Oracle Exadata expertise, including migrations of on-premises Oracle databases to OCI and automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices. The position requires an active Secret clearance and current residence in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The role is full-time and hybrid, with remote work and up to one onsite day per week in Washington, DC or Sterling, VA. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Target base salary is $175,000 to $185,000 per year; the final compensation structure is to be confirmed by the client.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) engineering experience.
- Oracle Database administration or engineering experience.
- Oracle Exadata experience.
- Experience migrating on-premises Oracle databases to OCI.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps, and automation experience.
- Red Hat Linux or Oracle Linux experience.
- Active Secret security clearance and ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
- U.S. citizenship, required for eligibility to access classified information under Executive Order 12968.
- Current residence in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
