About The Position

Your role, your impact As an experienced Oracle Cloud Financials Principal Consultant, you'll lead the design and delivery of high‑impact ERP solutions that drive business value and operational efficiency. You’ll work with client Finance and Accounting teams to transform complex requirements into scalable solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices while guiding implementation, testing, and issue resolution to achieve successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years' experience with Oracle Cloud Financials implementations
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Thorough understanding of operational financial controls and accounting processes as well as deep functional knowledge of the Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules (GL, AR, AP, LA, EX, FA, CM, PPM, and AHCS)
  • Experience participating in Oracle ERP Cloud implementations as a Functional Consultant (5+ implementations minimum)
  • Expert knowledge in financial system integration and overall ERP development, testing and support
  • Experience in facilitating and Business Process Workshops, Proof of Concept sessions, Conference Room Pilots, System Integrated Testing, UAT test case development and oversight
  • Experience gathering requirements, designing, and implementing General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Lease Accounting, Expenses, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Projects Portfolio Management, and Accounting Hub
  • Experience working with ERP to mature financial processes and reporting
  • Experience with testing and training, specifically for helping the finance and accounting functions adopt newly defined procedures
  • Superior written, spoken and presentation skills, with ability to effectively communicate with senior and executive stakeholders and influence outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Provide techno-functional expertise on projects and initiatives involving Oracle Cloud ERP Financial modules (GL, AR, AP, LA, EX, FA, CM, PPM, and AHCS) as well as its integration with other internal and external boundary applications
  • Ensure that all capabilities delivered align with original business objectives, application service levels, IT strategies, and design intent
  • Work with the client's Finance and Accounting functions to capture and map business requirements to Oracle Cloud functionality, identify gaps and advise clients on options aligned with Oracle Financials best practices while advising on associated risks, and value
  • Configure Oracle Cloud ERP as part of the implementation and ensure it aligns with the solution design and best practices
  • Organize and facilitate functional design sessions with multi-regional users and integrate resulting requirements into a cohesive Cloud ERP system design
  • Develop use and test cases to test the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP, participate in the execution, support the testing team, and remediate and ensure disposition of test case failures or anomalies
  • Align departmental policies and procedures with Cloud ERP system processes, policies, and procedures in the solution implementation
  • Support IT solutions project execution methodology, report on project progress, and aggressively identify and manage issues to closure
