Under the direction of the ERP Technical Manager, the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator is responsible for administering, monitoring, and maintaining the organization's Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment. This role manages cloud resources across multiple compartments, implements & maintains Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, monitors platform health through OCI Observability services, and ensures the security, availability, and performance of enterprise OCI cloud resources. The OCI Administrator also supports system upgrades, automation, troubleshooting, and adherence to organizational security and compliance standards. This position serves as the technical lead for OCI operations, working closely with Oracle Support, infrastructure teams, security teams, database administrators, and application owners to resolve complex production issues. The IT Business Systems Technologies department provides application and technical support for UCSF administrative systems. The Cloud ERP Financial Applications consists of Fund Management (General Ledger and Asset Management), Procure to Pay (Accounts Payable, Purchasing and eProcurement) and Research Administration (Accounts Receivables, Billing, Project Costing, Grants, Contract) modules. Cloud ERP Supply Chain encompasses Health Inventory & other supply chain modules.
