About The Position

We are seeking an Oracle BI Publisher Developer with experience in PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports conversion. This is a hybrid role located in Richmond, VA (VDACS) with a duration of 12 months. Initially, the role requires 2 days per week on-site, with the possibility of teleworking up to 3 days per week upon manager approval. Please note that parking is not provided for contractors.

Requirements

• Experience building efficient and well documented Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages
• 2 or more years' experience as developing, modifying, and deploying Oracle BI Publisher reports in an Oracle database environment
• 5 or more years' experience building efficient and well documented Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages

Nice To Haves

• 2 Years Exp with reading an existing Oracle Reports and create an Oracle BI Publisher Report modeled after it.
• 2 Years Experience developing, modifying, and deploying Oracle Forms and Reports in an Oracle database environment
• 2 Years Oracle BI Publisher Report Writer that will convert Oracle Reports to BI Publisher Reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of existing legacy Oracle Reports to define business requirements and logic
• Perform report development and deployment of Oracle BI Publisher reports to replace legacy reports
• Build Oracle PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions as needed
• Work directly with business end-users to gather requirements and coordinate testing of replacement reports
