About The Position

We are seeking a Hybrid Oracle BI Publisher Developer with PL/SQL, and Oracle Forms/Reports conversion experience for a 6-month contract position in Richmond, VA. The role involves replacing legacy Oracle Reports with Oracle BI Publisher reports. The position requires 2 days per week on-site initially, with the possibility of teleworking up to 3 days per week with manager approval. The developer will perform analysis of existing legacy Oracle Reports, develop and deploy Oracle BI Publisher reports, build Oracle PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions, and work directly with business end-users for requirements gathering and testing.

Requirements

• Experience building efficient and well documented Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages
• Experience in developing, modifying, and deploying Oracle BI Publisher reports in an Oracle database environment
• Exp with reading an existing Oracle Reports and create an Oracle BI Publisher Report modeled after it.
• Experience developing, modifying, and deploying Oracle Forms and Reports in an Oracle database environment

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of existing legacy Oracle Reports to define business requirements and logic
• Perform report development and deployment of Oracle BI Publisher reports to replace legacy reports
• Build Oracle PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions as needed
• Work directly with business end-users to gather requirements and coordinate testing of replacement reports
