About The Position
As an Oracle APEX Developer, you will support the modernization and enhancement of enterprise applications that manage critical and highly sensitive data. This role involves developing secure, scalable, and high-performing Oracle APEX applications, implementing new features, improving user experiences, and ensuring compliance with data security and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Strong experience developing enterprise applications using Oracle APEX.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 11g, 18c, and 19c environments.
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development expertise.
- Experience with Oracle PL/SQL Web Toolkit and Oracle development best practices.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or jQuery for front-end customization and enhancements.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Strong understanding of application security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience troubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining high-availability applications and databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working on healthcare, government, public sector, or other highly regulated enterprise systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications and related components.
- Implement new application enhancements supporting data modernization initiatives.
- Develop secure and scalable solutions using Oracle APEX, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Create and maintain Oracle database objects, packages, procedures, and triggers.
- Integrate applications with external systems using RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Enhance application security, performance, and reliability for mission-critical systems.
- Develop modern user interfaces and improve user experience through advanced APEX capabilities.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application, database, and integration issues.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data governance standards for sensitive information.
