About The Position

This individual develops and maintains Oracle databases and applications using Oracle development tools. He/she prepares and delivers written and oral communications, implements methods and procedures for stable configuration and control of application updates and changes, and develops training materials and provides training to the user community (attorneys, paralegals, and support staff). The mission of the National Security Division (NSD) is to carry out the Department's highest priority: to combat terrorism and other threats to national security. The Infrastructure Support and Software Development Services division provides all IT services necessary to support the NSD's Infrastructure & Operations as well as Software Development, Engineering, and Service Desk.

Requirements

5+ years of Oracle development and administration experience
Demonstrated professional experience with: implementing, integrating, and administering Oracle databases; development of Oracle applications; use of Oracle productivity tools such as TOAD; advanced knowledge of PL/SQL and coding techniques to code stored procedures and triggers; advanced knowledge with Oracle Application Express (APEX).
Active Top Secret security clearance

Administration of Oracle database server backbone infrastructure and operating system (OS).

Responsibilities
