About The Position

The OR Tech / Surgical Tech provides perioperative support in a day/evening rotating schedule, working a combination of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts to equal 40 hours per week between 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with call and weekends as needed; four 10-hour shifts are not guaranteed. The position requires circulating and scrubbing experience, including readiness to scrub a variety of surgical services and procedures. The role uses EPIC for patient records and involves collaboration with the healthcare team to support patient outcomes.

The posting also provides parking permit options and related policies for agency staff at the medical center. These include monthly or annual permits with differing access, locations, costs, shuttle availability, and refund terms; costs and options may change under CampusParc policies.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience.
• BCLS certification.
• Circulating and scrubbing experience.
• EPIC experience.
• High proficiency in robotic surgery, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, and ENT procedures.
• Experience in multiple services, including ENT/plastics (flaps/microvascular), endoscopic procedures (bronchoscopy, EGD, EBUS, and LS), neuro (craniotomy, EEA, and skull base), thoracic, and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a day/evening rotating schedule.
• Assist with circulating and scrubbing as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Be prepared to scrub a variety of services, including surgical oncology, thoracic, colorectal, urology, gynecologic oncology, head and neck/ENT, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastics/reconstructive, and robotics.
