About The Position

The Surgical Technologist provides direct support to surgeons and the perioperative team by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting during surgical procedures. This role is responsible for preparing instruments, supplies, and equipment, anticipating the needs of the surgical team, and ensuring adherence to sterile technique and infection control standards. The Surgical Technologists contributes to safe, efficient surgical outcomes through effective teamwork, technical competency, and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Employee may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.

Requirements

BLS (must be through the American Heart Association)

Nice To Haves

Graduated from an accredited Operating Room Technician Program
Minimum of one-year recent clinical acute care operating room experience as a Surgical Tech
