About The Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Adheres to the department’s and hospital’s policies and procedures, including safety, risk management and regulatory standards. Keeps abreast of trends, developments and regulatory requirements impacting matters within designated scope of responsibility. Administers, oversees and documents the administration of medications (e.g., topically, orally, intramuscularly, subcutaneously and intravenously) as ordered by the healthcare practitioner and in accordance with hospital policy.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Completion of an approved or minimum of one year previous OR experience.
  • Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days.
  • Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 months.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Of Science Nursing
  • One year of related work experience in an acute care setting, upon hire.
  • If assigned to the Gig Harbor Same Day Surgery (SDS) facility, related work experience in a free-standing surgery center.
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room, upon hire.
