About The Position

The Clinical Nurse provides care for the Perioperative Patient, including assessment, nursing diagnoses, planning, interventions, and evaluation of outcomes. The OR clinical nurse will circulate in specialties such as Orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, General, Ophthalmology, and Dental. Scrubbing experience is encouraged. May work varied hours when on call and handle emergency cases on short notice.

Requirements

• Valid Professional Nursing License in any US state, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or US territory
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from AHA
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from AHA within six months of hire
• NIH stroke scale certification within six months of hire
• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) within one year of hire
• Trauma Nurse core courses (TNCC) within two years of hire
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Two years of clinical nurse and/or operating room practical experience

Nice To Haves

• Scrubbing experience is encouraged
