OR Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) - 3 Days per Week!!!
About The Position
BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time OR X-Ray Technologist for Barnes Jewish Hospital - Main Floor Plaza West Tower- General Radiology (St. Louis, MO). New grads, upcoming Radiology grad students, and experienced Radiologic Technologists are welcome to apply. This position offers a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus and no experience is needed as cross-training will be provided. The role involves providing imaging support to the OR, ED, and Inpatients. Advanced Modality Technologists will receive competitive pay and training. On-the-job training is provided, and while no experience is necessary, 1 year of experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
- Associate or Trade School Equi

- IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
- RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES
Nice To Haves
- <2 years experience
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- Intravenous Therapy
- 1 year experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
- Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area.
