About The Position

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is hiring a Full-Time MRI Technologist - Operating Room (Day Shift) for Barnes-Jewish Hospital - New Plaza West Tower (St. Louis, MO). This position involves interventional and surgical MRI procedures, providing critical imaging support across a variety of OR cases. It is an Advanced Modality Technologist position within a surgical environment, utilizing Siemens MRI Machines. Training will be conducted on day shift, 5 days per week for approximately 3 months, before transitioning to the 3 days per week rotating schedule. Upcoming Student Grads and Experienced Radiologic Technologists/MRI Technologists are welcome to apply. This role offers NO CALL.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in related field
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR
• ARMRIT or ARRT
• No Experience
• No Experience (Supervisor Experience)

Nice To Haves

• MRI and/or OR experience (preferred)
• <2 years experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• Intravenous Therapy

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area.
