Requirements

  • OR/PACU Experience
  • Valid RN License or willing to obtain upon hire
  • BS in nursing, healthcare administration, education, or business management required
  • Prior Supervisory/Management experience and demonstrated leadership qualities and activities required; 3-5 years preferred
  • Ability to work well independently and demonstrate good judgment along with the ability to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
  • Knowledge of clinical procedures, program operations, computer software, and equipment

Responsibilities

  • Help to plan and organize Clinical Services responsibilities to increase staff efficiency and best utilize the staffs’ skills and abilities
  • Help to set goals for Clinical Services staff and motivate staff to accomplish the goals
  • Coordinate the effective delivery of patient services by monitoring patient flow and program operations
  • Assist with the training and orientation of staff
  • Administer performance appraisal evaluations for clinical staff
  • Assist in addressing and resolving day-to-day issues that pertain to clinical operations.
  • Assist primary nurses with coverage as needed and monitors workloads
  • Handle patient issues/complaints
