This position is for a talented OR Asst III-Anesthesia Tech working 32 hours per week on a day shift with an on-call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holidays). The role is located at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, MA.

Requirements

Equal to completion of four years of high school.
One-year clinical experience in an accredited hospital with preferred OR experience or a Certified Nursing Assistant or the equivalent knowledge and experience required.
Knowledge of Medical Terminology as related to the perioperative setting is required.
A minimum of one (1) year related work experience is required.
Current BLS/CPR Certification required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of duties in support of the Perioperative Services, Anesthesia, ASU, OB, Cath Lab and Interventional locations including but not limited to handling, cleaning and maintenance of perioperative, endoscopy and anesthesia equipment and supplies.
Assisting perioperative and anesthesia team.
Assist nursing personnel in providing patient care and related duties within assigned areas.
Perform ORA duties including on-call as needed or required.
