About The Position

The Vision Clinic is seeking a patient-focused Optometry Technician to support clinic operations and provide a positive patient experience. The role includes preparing exam rooms, conducting preliminary diagnostic tests, documenting patient encounters in coordination with the doctor, assisting with contact lens evaluations and orders, and supporting the doctor and team with patient-care tasks. Training is provided for candidates who are new to the field. A manager-in-training program is available for those interested in developing leadership skills.

Experience in medical or optical fields is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare exam rooms and set up for patient exams.
Conduct preliminary tests, including visual acuity, eye pressure, and other essential diagnostics.
Document each step of the patient encounter while working closely with the doctor.
Assist with contact lens evaluations, orders, and patient education.
Support the doctor and team with tasks that help ensure seamless patient care.
