An established, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice is seeking a personable, clinically strong Optometrist to join its dynamic team. Requirements
- A valid state optometry license or one actively being obtained is required
- Passion for medical optometry (experience preferred)
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing eye conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams for both new and established patients
- Diagnose and manage ocular diseases across a diverse patient population
- Provide expert contact lens fittings and follow-up care
- Collaborate closely with the practice's surgical team to co-manage cataract, refractive, glaucoma, and cornea patients
- Educate patients on treatment plans and vision care best practices
- Keep accurate, up-to-date EMR documentation
- Work alongside a supportive group of ophthalmologists, technicians, and clinical staff to ensure efficient, top-notch patient care
