About The Position

Northeast Eye Care Center is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join their team in Columbia, South Carolina. This established private practice focuses on quality, comprehensive eye care in a friendly and professional environment. The practice offers primary care, diabetic eye care, management for glaucoma, cataracts, and ocular surface diseases, as well as contact lens services, including fittings for hard-to-fit contacts. The practice is expanding and will be relocating to a new stand-alone building. The team consists of nine employees, and they are looking for an additional Optometrist to maintain their world-class service. The practice utilizes automated optical equipment such as autorefractors, OCT, OPTOS, and Humphry Visual Field, and employs cloud-based technology for electronic health records. The optical boutique offers a variety of fashion eyewear. The Opticians provide personalized services to help patients select the perfect pair of glasses. The Optometrist will practice at least three days a week, seeing approximately two to three patients per hour. The office is closed on weekends and holidays. A willingness to provide fill-in care at Camden Eye Care Center, located 35 miles away, is desired. Future partnership or ownership opportunities may be available for the right candidate.
