About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist to provide care in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Columbus, OH. This is a clinic-based role where you’ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations. This opportunity offers flexibility and professional support without the overhead and administrative burden of running your own practice. The opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model with full-time clinic staff, organized scheduling and patient flow, a coordinated, team-based care environment, and a value-based model focused on seniors. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics, allowing the optometrist to focus entirely on delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program
- Active Ohio optometry license
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
- Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments
Nice To Haves
- Experience treating senior populations preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams including visual acuity, refraction, and ocular health assessments
- Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions in aging populations
- Prescribe corrective lenses and coordinate care for advanced ophthalmologic needs when appropriate
- Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team
- Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting
