About The Position

FYidoctors is seeking a Full-Time Optometrist (4-5 days a week) to join their clinic in Sechelt, BC, located on the Sunshine Coast. The clinic, established in the 1960s, has a large, loyal, and diverse patient base and a strong professional relationship with a local Ophthalmologist. This role offers work-life balance in a desirable location. The clinic has a supportive staff including four optometrists and three licensed Opticians.

Requirements

• Full-time availability (4-5 days a week).
• Licensed Optometrist.
• Ability to serve a diverse patient base.
• Proficiency in using optometric equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with OCT, Autorefractor, Auto-Keratometer, Tonometer, NCT, Optomap, Med Mont Field Analyser.
• Interest in professional development opportunities like coaching, mentorship, and campus engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time optometric services (4-5 days a week).
• Serve a diverse patient base ranging from children to elders.
• Collaborate with a local Ophthalmologist for referrals.
• Utilize advanced optometric equipment for examinations and diagnostics.
