About The Position

Premier Eye Care Group is seeking an Optometrist to join its established, patient-focused practice serving the Harrisburg and Camp Hill, Pennsylvania communities. The practice has an immediate need for a provider who is passionate about high-quality care, strong patient relationships, and contributing to a growing practice. As a comprehensive ophthalmology and optometry practice, the team offers a full spectrum of medical, surgical, and vision care services, including cataract surgery, LASIK and refractive surgery, glaucoma diagnosis and treatment, comprehensive eye exams, contact lens services, and the diagnosis and management of a wide range of ocular diseases. With a collaborative team that includes an ophthalmologist and four optometrists, Premier Eye Care Group is focused on continued growth while preserving the personalized care, clinical excellence, accessibility, and advanced technology patients have come to expect. The practice’s team-based approach helps create a seamless experience for both patients and providers, with optometrists supported by in-room scribes and a highly trained technician team that performs refractions and comprehensive workups, including intraocular pressure measurements and dilation when appropriate, allowing providers to focus on delivering exceptional care.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school or college of optometry.
  • Eligible for, or currently possess, an active Pennsylvania optometry license.
  • Ability to diagnose and treat ocular disease in accordance with Pennsylvania law.
  • Clinically skilled, patient-focused, and comfortable managing a full scope of optometric care, including ocular disease diagnosis and treatment, contact lens care, and routine vision services.
  • Eligibility for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.
  • Strong clinical judgment.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Professionalism.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Collaborative mindset and commitment to working closely with ophthalmologists and support staff to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care and exceptional patient outcomes.
