About The Position

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a part-time Optometrist to provide refractive care at an outpatient clinic in Winchester, Virginia. The clinic-based role serves senior populations in a coordinated, community-focused setting, with the optometrist functioning as an extension of the clinical team. The role offers a consistent schedule and professional support without the overhead and administrative burden of operating a private practice.

The clinic uses a community-based outpatient model with full-time on-site clinic staff, organized scheduling and patient flow, and team-based care. CMC manages equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics so the optometrist can focus on vision care. This is not a high-volume retail setting; the organization emphasizes quality over volume, predictable scheduling, administrative support, long-term clinic partnerships, and ethical, mission-driven healthcare delivery.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
• Active Virginia optometry license.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills.
• Comfort practicing in outpatient clinic environments.
