Requirements

Licensed to practice in Arizona
One to two years of optometry experience
Confidence to diagnose and treat a variety of ocular conditions
Medically trained
Comfortable managing patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other complex visual needs
Experienced with contact lens exams and fittings
Optometry license in Arizona

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical optometry care in a private practice setting, including refractions, contact lens fittings, medical eye exams, cataract surgery co-management, punctal plugs, and treatment for a wide range of ocular conditions.
Diagnose and treat ocular diseases such as glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and dry eye.
Co-manage cataract surgeries.
Fit scleral and specialty contact lenses.
Care for patients with complex visual needs.
