About The Position
Coastal Eye Care is seeking a full-time optometrist to join their physician-led practice. This role is embedded within a collaborative ophthalmology-led practice, working alongside two experienced ophthalmologists. The facility is state-of-the-art, featuring 10 fully equipped exam rooms with premium IOL capabilities, an on-site ambulatory surgery center, and an advanced diagnostic suite. The practice emphasizes work-life balance, offering Friday afternoons off and support from skilled technicians and scribes to ensure an efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Board certified or board eligible
- Eligible for Maine state licensure
Responsibilities
- Provide optometric care within a collaborative ophthalmology-led practice.
- Work alongside experienced ophthalmologists with strong clinical and surgical support.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic technology including iTrace, Zeiss OCT, Argos biometer, LAL IOL Light Delivery Device, and ORA Wavetec.
- Focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
