About The Position
Center For Sight is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our Venice practice in Sarasota County, Florida. This opportunity is ideal for an optometrist interested in medical optometry and collaborative OD/MD care. The Optometrist will work closely with our ophthalmologists and subspecialists, playing an integral role in the co-management and post-procedural care of patients, while also diagnosing and managing a broad range of ocular conditions. The provider will be supported by an experienced clinical team, advanced diagnostic technology, and a strong ophthalmology referral network. For more than 30 years, Center For Sight has been a leader in the integrated OD/MD model, providing comprehensive eye care through close collaboration between optometry and ophthalmology. This position offers the opportunity to practice at a high clinical level while becoming an integral part of a growing, multidisciplinary eye care team.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school or college of optometry
- Eligible for or currently holds a Florida optometry license
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, team-oriented environment
Nice To Haves
- Board certification preferred, but not required
- Residency training preferred, but not required
- Candidates with experience in medical optometry, co-management, and post-procedural patient care are also encouraged to apply
