About The Position

Southern Illinois Eyecare has been serving southeast Illinois with first-in-class, full-scope, modern optometric care for over 20 years. Our experienced, tenured staff and state-of-the art instrumentation create an environment for our providers to work at the highest standard of diagnostic and therapeutic care, and guarantee an extraordinary experience to patients, doctors, and support team alike. Our group has 3 practices located throughout Southern Illinois: Du Quoin, Sparta, and Chester. This position is to support the groups’ growth and requires travel to several of our locations. This opportunity is a way for you to practice in a way that makes you feel clinically fulfilled and have a great work-life balance (M-F 9-5p)! The ideal candidate will be able to continue their passions with ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, myopia management, dry eye management, and medical optometry. Requirements

  • Doctorate in Optometry (O.D.)
  • Licensed to practice optometry in the state of Illinois
  • Ability to practice full scope optometry
  • Experience in ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, myopia management, dry eye management, and medical optometry
