About The Position

Solis Optics Square One in Mississauga is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (Fridays and Saturdays) to join our team. Our recently renovated clinic serves a diverse and growing patient base, and increased demand has created an opportunity to welcome an additional OD to the practice. Our Optometrists are supported by a knowledgeable and experienced team that assists with pre-testing, patient flow, and optical dispensing. Patient care is at the heart of everything we do, and the incoming OD will have flexibility in their schedule to ensure patients receive the time and attention they need. Solis Optics, the retail optical division of FYI Health Group, operates over 30 locations across four provinces in Canada under several trusted brands and banners. In Ontario alone, we have 12 locations, including four in Mississauga.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree.
• Licensed to practice optometry in Ontario.
• Strong diagnostic and treatment skills.
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work part-time on Fridays and Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with retinal imaging technology.
• Familiarity with integrated EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye exams.
• Diagnose and treat eye conditions and diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and medications.
• Educate patients on eye health and vision care.
• Collaborate with the support team to ensure efficient patient flow and care.
