About The Position

Advantage Vision Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, led by the state’s first African American female optometrist, is now hiring a full-time clinical optometrist with buy-in potential. This welcoming practice focuses on caring for patients, promoting whole-body wellness, and supporting long-term health. The modern office provides space to learn and grow as part of a supportive team. If you’re looking for a practice to build your career with an inspiring group, Advantage Vision Center is the perfect place to be! Why join us? Specializing in advanced diagnostics and comprehensive medical eye care, including glaucoma, diabetes-related eye conditions, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), dry eye, and specialty contact lens fittings, the practice offers both in-person (4.5 days per week) and virtual (5 days per week) appointments to ensure accessible, high-quality service. What you'll do: As a Clinical Optometrist at Advantage Vision Center, you are responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of optometric services, including eye examinations, disease diagnosis and management, vision correction, contact lens fittings, and both pediatric and adult care. This full-time role involves 32 hours of patient care each week, with an average of 20 patients per day, fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment where the provider, supported by a skilled team, offers compassionate and seamless care to individuals of all ages, while upholding the practice’s commitment to wellness and community engagement. Who you are: The ideal candidate is a passionate, dependable optometrist committed to long-term practice growth and skilled in specialties such as Binocular Vision, specialty contacts, and Myopia Management. Comfortable with medical eye care and adept at managing a diverse range of patients of all ages, you bring exceptional communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a dedication to continuous learning.
