About The Position
Warby Parker is seeking a full-time Optometrist to deliver remarkable vision care in a collaborative environment. The Optometrist performs comprehensive eye exams according to Warby Parker’s protocols and standards of care, makes accurate measurements and diagnoses ocular conditions, and explains eye health, eyewear, and prescription terminology to patients. The role also involves sharing product knowledge and representing the brand to help establish Warby Parker as a leading vision service provider.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry degree.
- Licensed to practice in the state where the role is located.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Dedicated to helping people stay healthy and happy.
- Knowledgeable about new technology and eager to incorporate it into work.
- Innovative, proactive, and entrepreneurial.
- Business-minded and driven to deliver results.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams in accordance with Warby Parker’s protocols and standards of care.
- Ensure accuracy when taking measurements and diagnosing ocular conditions.
- Explain eye health, eyewear, and prescription terminology to patients.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and communicate product features and benefits to patients.
- Represent the Warby Parker brand and help educate and excite others about the company as a vision service provider.
