About The Position

LKQ Corporation is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Automotive Dismantlers. This role involves dismantling vehicles, labeling parts, and ensuring quality control, all while adhering to safety guidelines. This is a Monday-Friday, 1st shift position with a starting salary between $22.00 and $23.00 per hour, with a commission plan available after 30-60 days. Automotive experience is a plus, and candidates must possess their own tools.

Requirements

• Must have hands-on automotive repair experience.
• Must own and maintain all the tools necessary.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic messages communicated orally.
• May write brief messages and keep simple records.
• Follows standard procedures with no decision-making involved.
• Uses guidance/guidelines provided by supervisor/manager.
• Assignments/priorities provide by supervisor/manager.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Automotive Experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle vehicles within the suggested time constraints in a safety-conscious manner.
• Label and tag parts to be placed into stock.
• Check the quality and product type of the parts.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
