About The Position

Join FYidoctors in Miramichi, NB as a Full-Time Optometrist. Our recently renovated clinic offers a loyal patient base spanning all age groups. We are thankful to have a loyal and highly trained staff who support our OD team. Our busy, full service clinic has a diverse patient with the diagnostic technology required to serve the community. Our team of ODs each practice from their own exam lane and the incoming OD will have their own lane. We are the largest provider of Optometry services locally and a referral center for local medical practitioners, therapeutic, or emergency services. This busy location includes a large therapeutic practice, as well as primary care eye exams, low vision, CL fitting, pre-and-post laser patient care, and emergency services. We also have a strong relationship with local ophthalmologists.

Requirements

• Full-Time Optometrist position
• Must have own exam lane

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Zeiss 5000 OCT with anterior segment
• Experience with Tonoref III 4-in-1 diagnostic medical device
• Experience with Optomap
• Experience with Humphreys VF
• Experience with FDT

Responsibilities

• Practice primary care eye exams
• Provide therapeutic services
• Perform low vision assessments
• Conduct contact lens fittings
• Manage pre- and post-laser patient care
• Offer emergency eye services
