Optometrist Louisville and Lexington

Dr. Snipes & AssociatesLexington, KY

About The Position

Dr. Snipes & Associates is an established, independently owned optometric practice serving Kentucky patients since 1996. We currently operate four locations in Louisville and Lexington. Our practices are located alongside LensCrafters; however, Dr. Snipes & Associates is an independent optometric practice. We maintain our own clinical operations, team, systems, and practice culture, and our optometrists maintain autonomy in the care and treatment of their patients. We are seeking personable, dependable, and patient-focused Optometrists interested in full-time, part-time, or flexible opportunities within our growing practice. Our goal is to give our doctors the resources and support they need to provide excellent patient care while allowing them to practice optometry. Our ODs provide comprehensive primary eye care with opportunities to diagnose and manage medical conditions within the full scope of optometric practice. Depending on the needs and interests of the doctor, patient care may include comprehensive eye examinations, routine and medical eye care, contact lens examinations and fittings, specialty contact lens fitting, dry eye evaluation and management, glaucoma evaluation and management, myopia management, cataract and retinal evaluations, emergency and problem-focused eye care, punctal plug procedures, human amniotic membrane allograft treatment, and appropriate referral and co-management with ophthalmology and other specialists. Our doctors maintain clinical autonomy and are expected to use their professional judgment to determine the most appropriate care for each patient.
