About The Position

King LASIK/ K2 Vision is seeking a results-driven, and reliable Optometrist in our Tukwila, WA location. A King LASIK/ K2 Vision Optometrist is an eye care professional who must assess and counsel preoperative and postoperative King LASIK/ K2 Vision patients with 100% accuracy and judgment, under the supervision of an Ophthalmologist. At K2 Vision, our goal is to give every patient the VERY BEST solution to their vision problems. And sometimes, that’s not LASIK. That’s why we launched K2 Vision, to connect patients with our incredible surgeons to provide ICL and RLE – life-changing vision-correction procedures for people who don’t qualify for LASIK. Our only goal is to find the best vision solution for our patients specific conditions and lifestyles. Our doctors are here to advise with the knowledge and skills that only 20 years of experience can provide.

Requirements

Engaging and kind personality

Experience with a number of diagnostic tools and tests, including topography, refraction, slit lamp examination, etc.
Familiar with computers and with an ability to learn new software, experience with MS Office, and Mod Med.
Patience, approachability, and calm demeanor
Ability to manage patient expectations and concerns
Doctor of Optometry required

Responsibilities

Provide superior customer service and patient care
Be accountable for the quality and accuracy of all testing and charting completed
Complete preoperative and postoperative diagnostic testing and full eye exams, offering clear communication to patients throughout the process
Use patient charts and other available tools to make accurate and clear notes regarding patient eye health
Provide counseling and recommendations with respect to procedures and technology available at King LASIK
Promote King LASIK and K2 Vision technology appropriately
Assess and counsel preoperative and postoperative King LASIK/ K2 Vision patients with 100% accuracy and judgment, under the supervision of an Ophthalmologist.
