About The Position

Coastal Eye Care is a 29-year-old, physician-led practice with deep roots in the Downeast Maine community. This role offers a clinical environment with two experienced ophthalmologists in a state-of-the-art facility. The facility includes 10 fully equipped exam rooms, an on-site ambulatory surgery center, and advanced diagnostic technology. A skilled technician pool with scribe support ensures an efficient workflow, allowing the optometrist to focus on exceptional patient care. The practice emphasizes clinical excellence and work-life balance. This is a full-time optometrist role embedded within a collaborative ophthalmology-led practice, providing strong clinical and surgical support.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Board certified or board eligible
• Eligible for Maine state licensure

Nice To Haves

• Experience with iTrace, Zeiss OCT, Argos biometer, LAL IOL Light Delivery Device, and ORA Wavetec.
