Optometrist (Fill-in)
About The Position
A leading optometric practice in Stockton, California, is seeking a licensed Optometrist to provide temporary coverage as a vacation fill-in doctor. This independent contractor position is available for multiple days between September 28 and October 14, with flexibility on exact scheduling and a preference for at least 8 days during this period. The role involves conducting comprehensive eye exams and managing patient care in a busy, fully equipped office, seeing up to 15 patients per day, with all pretesting performed by support staff. Patient encounters are documented using Eyefinity Encompass EHR.
Requirements
- Current licensure to practice Optometry in the state of California
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
