About The Position

We are a well-established, privately owned (non-PE) eyecare practice located in the vibrant Grand Concourse / Fordham neighborhood of the Bronx, NY. Requirements

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
Active, unrestricted New York State optometry license (or eligibility to obtain)
Proficiency in comprehensive eye examinations and diagnostic interpretation
Eligibility to work in the United States independently without the need for sponsorship

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular conditions
Manage a schedule of 20+ patients per day from primary to quick follow ups
Providing your recommendations to the team to fit eyewear and contact lenses
Review diagnostic testing—auto refractions, visual fields, OCT, fundus photos, and tonometry—prepared by your workup team
Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive care
Collaborate with front-desk and optical staff to ensure seamless patient experience
