About The Position

Eye Trends is seeking an energetic Optometrist who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and enjoys caring for patients in a variety of practice settings. The role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work as one team to deliver world-class eye care, directly impacting business success. This is a full-time opportunity to practice optometry to its fullest at a fun, fast-paced, and friendly family practice with multiple locations in North Houston, Texas. Eye Trends has been serving generations of families in the Houston area for more than 30 years, offering comprehensive vision care, specializing in ocular disease management, specialty contact lenses, dry eye management, and myopia control. The practice also features a comprehensive optical boutique with the latest trending styles in eyeglasses and sunglasses and an extensive selection of premium contact lenses.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
  • 1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Responsibilities

  • Practice full-scope optometry in modern, state-of-the-art clinics across Conroe, Kingwood, Spring, and The Woodlands.
  • Provide comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages and a variety of visual and medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager, Patient Coordinator, Optometric Technician, and Optician to support practice growth and expand access to quality healthcare in the community.
