About The Position

Ideal Eye, a multi-location practice, is seeking a Texas-licensed Floater Optometrist to support growing practices across Central Texas, including North San Antonio, Lockhart, Buda, and Kyle. Requirements

  • Texas-licensed Optometrist
  • Adaptable, dependable, and comfortable supporting multiple practice locations
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and patient-centered approach to care
  • Empathy, sound clinical judgment, strong interpersonal skills, good dexterity
  • Commitment to continuous learning
  • Flexibility, professionalism, and consistency
  • Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
  • 1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
