About The Position

Carolina Eyecare Physicians is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join its integrated provider team in the greater Charleston, South Carolina region. The role is an opportunity to practice medical optometry in a collaborative OD/MD environment within an established, growing eye care organization. The practice has 14 ophthalmologists and 14 optometrists across 16 clinics and a wholly owned ophthalmic surgery center equipped with advanced technology.

The Optometrist will work closely with ophthalmologists and subspecialists to provide comprehensive and medical eye care, including co-management and post-procedural care. Providers are supported by experienced clinical teams, including technicians, scribes, and diagnostic staff. The practice is high-volume, with providers typically seeing 25–30 or more patients per day. Travel between practice locations within the Greater Charleston area is required. Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school or college of optometry.
• Eligible for or currently holds a South Carolina optometry license.
• Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills.
• Comfort working in a high-volume, team-oriented environment.
• Interest in medical optometry and collaborative OD/MD care.

Responsibilities
