About The Position

Carolina Eyecare Physicians is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join its integrated provider team in the greater Charleston, South Carolina region. The role offers the opportunity to practice medical optometry in a collaborative OD/MD environment within an established, growing eye care organization. The Optometrist will work closely with ophthalmologists and subspecialists to provide comprehensive and medical eye care, participate in co-management and post-procedural care, and be supported by experienced clinical teams, dedicated technicians, scribes, and advanced diagnostic technology. The practice has 16 clinics, 14 ophthalmologists, 14 optometrists, and a wholly owned ophthalmic surgery center. Providers typically see 25–30 or more patients per day and may travel between practice locations in the Greater Charleston area.

Requirements

Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school or college of optometry.
Eligible for or currently holds a South Carolina optometry license.
Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills.
Comfort working in a high-volume, team-oriented environment.
Interest in medical optometry and collaborative OD/MD care.

Responsibilities
