About The Position

This is a 4-month cooperative education position from January to May 2027, located onsite in Allentown, PA. The role involves participating in the development of coherent optical subsystems test sets, designing and developing manufacturing test solutions, defining and configuring required test instrumentation hardware, developing and supporting automated manufacturing test infrastructure, and developing and maintaining software applications built on .NET.

Requirements

• Hands on experience with optical and electrical test and measurement equipment including programmable optical power meters, attenuators, and switches, optical spectrum analyzers, digital multi-meters and oscilloscopes
• Basic understanding of electronics, with the ability to read electrical schematics and comprehend technical documents
• Proficiency in .NET and VB or C# programming language, including object-oriented programming concepts
• Foundation in database concepts and experience working with databases, like SQL Server

Nice To Haves

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of analyzing complex problems and developing effective solutions
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Strong communication skills
