About The Position

OSI Optoelectronics (OSIO) is seeking a summer intern to support the Trade Compliance department. This role is for a college student pursuing a diploma/degree in Business Administration, International Business, Political Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. The intern will provide analytical and administrative support for the Trade Compliance Program, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, including import and export controls, customs laws, and sanctions. The position also involves assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Trade Compliance policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a solid academic background, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in college during the 2026 academic school year and be in good standing.
Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, International Business, Political Science, Supply Chain Management or related field.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint desired.
Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong time management and prioritization skills are essential.
Ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

Provide analytical and administrative support for the Trade Compliance Program.
Ensure the business stays compliant with international trade regulations, including import and export controls, customs laws, and sanctions.
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Trade Compliance policies and procedures.
