About The Position

The Sales Associate attracts and retains patients by delivering an exceptional patient experience, fostering patient retention, and promoting doctor satisfaction. The role includes filling ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions, fitting and adapting lenses and frames, assisting patients with optical choices, and helping ensure the store is effectively merchandised. The position is described as being in Orland Park.

Requirements

• Ability to sell using sales skills and accountability for sales results.
• Experience and proven results in a retail or customer service establishment.
• Ability to present and implement decisive and creative solutions to grow the business.
• Ability to communicate enthusiastically and concisely to meet or exceed patient expectations.
• Attention to detail and follow-up.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or comparable experience typically achieved with a minimum of 1–2 years in a retail environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with personal computers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use optical prescriptions in conjunction with patients’ visual requirements.
• Recommend lenses and lens coatings to suit patient needs.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with prescriptions and patient needs.
• Perform appropriate optical-related measurements.
• Guide patients regarding Managed Vision Care.
• Help ensure the store is effectively merchandised.
• Attract and retain patients through an exceptional patient experience, patient retention, and doctor satisfaction.
