Requirements

A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states).
2+ years of experience in a management position.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, exhibiting model behavior.
Ability to drive optical metrics and adhere to strict optical standards.
High sense of professionalism and open-mindedness in decision-making.
Clear and effective communication skills, able to explain technical terms simply.
Dedication to exceeding customer and teammate expectations.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Not on the Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).

Responsibilities

Work directly with customers to meet all of their eyewear needs.
Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with flawless accuracy.
Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
Manage a team of Opticians through feedback, development conversations, and leading by example.
Uphold exceptional service standards and implement retail experience programs to increase customer loyalty.
Report to the Store Leader to anticipate staffing needs and oversee Optician Apprentice Program participants.
Stay updated on HR policies and procedures to promote a productive, safe culture.
Leverage company resources to increase employee engagement and job satisfaction.
Support general store systems, inventory databases, and business operations.
