About The Position

Fabricate high-precision optical components used in advanced semiconductor photolithography machines. Work in one of several processing competencies: CNC machining of glass; grinding and polishing optical surfaces; operating deposition chambers to coat optics; aligning and assembling glass parts; or measuring optical characteristics for process feedback and final inspection. Produce quality optics to production schedules, maintain safety and workplace organization, follow standards, and contribute to continuous improvement through individual learning and teamwork. The role follows a compressed schedule of 12-hour shifts, rotating between three and four days per week. The listed Front End Days schedule is 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and alternate Wednesday. Work takes place in a clean room, with required protective clothing and equipment worn throughout the shift. The environment is temperature controlled and may have moderate to high noise. The position may involve travel based on business needs and exposure to lasers, chemicals, solvents, moving mechanical parts, strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents, and industrial material-handling equipment. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship and legally authorized to access controlled technology before beginning work. Compensation is listed as a base annual salary range of $38,100–$69,850; individual pay depends on role-related factors.
