About The Position

ASML is seeking an Optical Fabrication Technician to fabricate high-precision optical components used in semiconductor photolithography machines. The role requires attention to detail, precise hand-eye coordination, commitment to production schedules, and adherence to safety and processing standards. Technicians work in a processing competency that may include CNC machining glass, grinding and polishing optical surfaces, operating deposition chambers to coat optics, aligning and assembling glass parts, or measuring optical characteristics for process feedback and final inspection. The technician maintains safety and workplace organization, handles delicate components, monitors equipment and product quality, and contributes to continuous improvement. The role involves learning progressively more challenging products and collaborating with production engineering and manufacturing management. Candidates must be legally authorized to access controlled technology before starting work; business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible. The position is listed for CWW backend nights, with a schedule of 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The job posting notes potential exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage, and currents.
