Requirements
- High school diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- References must comment on lab/research experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required.
- Requires strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions with good work ethic.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of genetics and cell biology.
- Basic knowledge in molecular biological and histological procedures and techniques including tissue sectioning, immunohistochemistry and fluorescence microscopy appreciated.
- For the purpose of data analysis, knowledge of specific software such as GraphPad, Excel, ImageJ and Photoshop desired.
- A background in mouse husbandry and tissue dissections would be a plus.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on laboratory work, including mouse colony management (breeding, genotyping, and general animal care), tissue harvesting, and cell culture techniques.
- Maintaining clean and organized lab areas.
- Managing ordering and supply inventories.
- Creating and updating spreadsheets and other lab documents.
